As a Learning and Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our learning initiatives and driving employee growth.

We are seeking a dedicated Learning and Development Manager to lead our learning programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about employee development, possess exceptional organizational skills, and have a strong background in designing and implementing learning strategies that align with business goals of a wealth management firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive learning and development plans that address the needs of employees at all levels within the organization, specifically including our Advisor Growth Track (AGT) and our continuing education for Advisors.
  • Collaborate with department heads and HR to assess learning needs, identify skill gaps, and create effective development strategies.
  • Design and deliver engaging training programs, workshops, and educational sessions that enhance employee skills and capabilities.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through feedback, assessments, and metrics analysis to continuously improve initiatives.
  • Stay updated on financial services industry trends, best practices, and advancements in learning and development to ensure our programs remain innovative and competitive.
  • Manage relationships with external training providers, consultants, and vendors to leverage resources and expertise as needed.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning, Finance, Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Learning and Development Manager or similar role, with at least 5+ years in designing and implementing learning programs.
  • Proven experience in professional development programs centered on Advisor growth and performance
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training methodologies.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and build strong working relationships.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive decision-making.
  • Certification in training and development (e.g., CPLP) is a plus.
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) preferred
